Ken's practice areas include criminal law, personal injury, and general litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Ken was an assistant county attorney in Nobles County for four years, after which he was elected Nobles County Attorney in Worthington, MN and served for an additional fourteen years. Ken moved to Moorhead in 2002 and served as the Chief Assistant Criminal Prosecutor with the Clay County Attorney's office, until 2006 when he was appointed interim Clay County Attorney.
Ken has also worked in the Redwood County Attorney's Office, and was a partner with the private firm of Mork, H. Darling & Hagemann in Worthington, MN before moving to the Fargo-Moorhead area. Ken's area of legal emphasis has always been criminal law/litigation. Ken has handled over a hundred jury trials involving all areas of criminal law. In 2005-06, Ken was one of four finalists for possible judicial appointment in Clay County.
Ken was a member of the Minnesota Army National Guard for 11 years. As such, Ken was a Judge Advocate General (JAG) and achieved the rank of Major.
