Tami Norgard

Tami concentrates her practice on environmental matters and civil litigation, including real estate, insurance and water law litigation. Her experience includes numerous jury trials, court trials and appeals. Tami is listed in The Best Lawyers in America for 2008.

She joined the Vogel Firm in 1999 after practicing with the Gray Plant Mooty firm in Minneapolis and after working for the federal government in Washington, D.C. Tami graduated from the University of North Dakota summa cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science. She received her law degree cum laude and a Masters of Studies in Environmental Law and Policy magna cum laude in 1995 from Vermont Law School.

Tami teaches Environmental Law & Policy in a graduate program at NDSU. She has also taught courses at UND Law School in 2003 and at the University of Minnesota Law School from 1997-1999.

Tami supports the community by sitting on the Fargo Theater Board, the United Blood Services Leadership Council, the Moorhead Rotary Board, the Dakota Montessori School Board, and the City of Moorhead Charter Commission. She is also involved in the North Dakota Law Related Education Committee and the MSBA Environment and Natural Resources Section.

A native of Arnegard, North Dakota, Tami lives in Moorhead with her husband John Zasada, and their two children. She is an avid knitter and runs long distance events.
