Leslie Bakken Oliver

Leslie practices in our Bismarck office, concentrating on labor and employment law and healthcare law. She is a 1991 graduate of the University of North Dakota Law School, with distinction.

Leslie represents North Dakota employers on a variety of human resource issues, focusing on risk management, hiring and termination, training, handbooks, performance reviews, unemployment insurance, harassment and discrimination. Leslie is a co-editor of the North Dakota Employment Law Letter, a monthly newsletter published for employers and human resource professionals. Leslie's healthcare practice is focused primarily on issues related to the long term care industry, including assisted living, basic care and skilled nursing facilities. Leslie has served as legal counsel to the North Dakota Long Term Care Association since 1995.

Leslie and her husband, Clete Burbach, live along the banks of the Missouri River, north of Bismarck. They love waterskiing, snowskiing, biking, volleyball and spending time with their children.
