John J. Petrik John focuses his practice in the areas of business and commercial transactions and litigation, construction, real estate, and estate planning. Prior to joining the Bismarck office in 2001, he was a partner with Pringle & Herigstad in Minot. John is a 1982 graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School with honors, and received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State. He is licensed to practice in North Dakota, Montana and US Tax Court. John has served on the North Dakota Bar Association Board of Governors and the Minot Public School Board, and has been involved in numerous bar, health care and economic development boards and committees. John and his wife Rebecca have three adult children. Rebecca is a Music Ed Professor at Minot State University and is involved heavily in the music community. In their free time they enjoy skiing, camping and traveling.
