Chris's areas of concentration include criminal defense and general litigation.

Chris received his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, in English and Mass Communications from Minnesota State University - Moorhead and graduated with distinction from University of North Dakota School of Law, where he was elected into the Order of the Coif and Order of Barristers. While in law school, Chris was a member of the North Dakota law review, published articles on health law and Indian gaming law, and served on the Moot Court board. After law school, he served as clerk to Chief Justice Gerald VandeWalle of the North Dakota Supreme Court.

A native of Bismarck, Chris also serves on the Board of Governors for the North Dakota Humanities Council. In his spare time Chris enjoys golfing, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
