Sidney J. Spaeth

Sid practices intellectual property law, securities law and business litigation. He joined the firm in 1998 after practicing for seven years in Minneapolis.

Sid was born in Fargo and raised in Bismarck, where he graduated from Bismarck High School. He graduated from Stanford University in 1983 and worked as a newspaper reporter for five years at The Forum, of Fargo, ND, and at the Wichita Eagle-Beacon in Wichita, KS.

Sid graduated in 1991 from the University of California-Berkeley Boalt Hall School of Law, where he was a member of the California Law Review. Upon graduation, Sid clerked for the Honorable Frank J. Magill of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.

Sid has extensive business, intellectual property and securities law experience. He has experience representing clients in a wide variety of state and federal courts and in alternative dispute resolutions.
