Nick is an associate in the Fargo office primarily focusing on business and shareholder litigation, partnership disputes, and business organization, structure, and governance.  In addition, Nick frequently assists clients with commercial litigation and contract matters, trust and estate litigation, and serves as outside counsel for several area businesses regarding governance matters. 

Nick graduated magna cum laude from North Dakota State University with a degree in finance. During his time at NDSU, Nick was involved with student government and also served a one-year term as the Student Member of the North Dakota State Board of Higher Education. He went on to graduate cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School.  

While in law school, Nick earned a Business Law Concentration and was involved with Moot Court, including being selected to represent the University of Minnesota as a member of the National Moot Court Competition Team his 3L year. Nick also gained valuable experience during law school as a judicial extern in Ramsey County (MN) District Court and law clerk at a Twin Cities law firm. 

A native of southwestern Minnesota, in his spare time Nick enjoys hunting, golfing, and spending time with his wife, family, and friends.
