Meet Elizabeth
Elizabeth is an attorney in Fargo with the general civil litigation practice group.
Elizabeth earned her juris doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law. While in law school, Elizabeth developed client advocacy skills through Trial Advocacy courses and the Lile Moot Court competition. She excelled in every family law course available at UVA and was awarded the Virginia State Bar Family Law Book Award at graduation. She also participated in the Nonprofit Clinic, where she advised clients on documents, organization, and compliance with state and federal law. She served as the Senior Business Manager for the Virginia Journal of Social Policy and the Law, Women’s Outreach Coordinator for the Federalist Society, and President of the St. Thomas More Society along with being catcher on their softball team–Sermon on the Mound. She was an extern for both the U.S. District Court for the District of North Dakota and the Federal Public Defenders for the Districts of North and South Dakota in their Fargo office. During her 2L summer she worked for Dorsey & Whitney in their Minneapolis office. Before joining the Vogel Firm, she spent one year clerking for the Honorable Stephen N. Limbaugh, Jr., of the Eastern District of Missouri.
Elizabeth is a Fargo native who graduated summa cum laude from The Catholic University of America in 2020 with her Bachelor of Arts degree having completed double majors in History and Philosophy and a minor in Medieval and Byzantine Studies. While at Catholic University, Elizabeth tutored local youth through D.C. Reads, served as a Cardinal Ambassador, and excelled in her studies. She was awarded the title of University Scholar as well as the Zeender Prize for best senior history thesis for her original research on the Honorable Ronald N. Davies and the Little Rock Nine.
Elizabeth is happy to be back in Fargo. In her spare time, she enjoys supporting North Dakota Girls State and the American Legion Auxiliary, cooking with her husband, cheering for the Twins, and reading.
