We are proud to share that Rob Manly, Shareholder at Vogel, has been elected President-Elect of the State Bar Association of North Dakota. Rob currently serves as SBAND’s Treasurer and will continue his long-standing service to the legal profession in this new leadership role.
A skilled litigation attorney with more than 20 years at Vogel, Rob has represented clients across North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota in a wide range of matters, including personal injury, trust and estate disputes, contract issues, and agricultural law. Known for his strong courtroom presence and natural communication skills, he has handled numerous matters to successful outcomes.
Beyond his legal practice, Rob has contributed significantly to the firm’s leadership, serving eight years as President and playing key roles on our recruiting and compensation committees. He is a proud native of New Rockford, North Dakota, and a graduate of Dartmouth College and the University of North Dakota School of Law. His commitment to service extends to the broader community through involvement in various nonprofits and community boards.
Rob is the Secretary-Treasurer for the State Bar Association of North Dakota Board of Governors, and is very active in bar association activities, serving as a mentor in SBAND’s Lawyer’s Assistance Program, and having served for over 24 years on the Board of Directors for Legal Services of North Dakota.
