Marketing Intern


Vogel Law Firm has an opportunity to participate in our part-time paid summer Marketing Internship Program in our Fargo, ND office! This internship runs from May through the beginning of August 2024. *Internship can start as early as April 1st.


This internship program is designed to provide valuable career experience for students who wish to apply their education and skills in the marketing legal industry. Participants get on-the-job training as well as technical and business-oriented experience. As an intern at Vogel Law Firm, you will be working on marketing campaigns that significantly impact the success of our firm.

Interns will see firsthand what goes into the making of a successful legal marketing campaign; they will handle campaigns from session planning to logistics, followed by measuring effectiveness through analytics to determine ROI on various marketing campaigns and projects.

  • Help coordinate special events, seminars, firm sponsorships, and donations across the region.
  • Assist in managing all social media platforms using CoSchedule and come up with creative content to repurpose across multiple platforms.
  • Collaborate on photo and video shoot scheduling and preparation.
  • Manage, edit and maintain website and online professional profile content.
  • Must be able to make deliveries and pickups, and administrative tasks supporting attorneys and staff. Must have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle and provide clean driving record.


  • Maintains tidiness of marketing office, and promotional storage areas.
  • Complete various projects for the firm as coordinated through Marketing.
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures, maintain regular attendance, complete administrative tasks correctly and on time.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Ability to read and write at a level normally acquired through the completion of high school to process informational messages.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate by telephone and in person with visitors, attorneys, and staff to provide information with ordinary courtesy and tact.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to use a computer workstation for an extended period.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly collaborative with a desire to learn in a professional environment.
  • Superior attention to detail and accuracy, organizational skills.
  • High level of personal productivity, quick to execution that gets great results.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:  High School/GED. Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing seeking a degree in Marketing or Communications or a Business-related field.



  • Normal office environment.
  • Ability to retrieve and distribute print volumes, push, and pull packages, and books weighing up to 20 pounds and ability to retrieve and replace objects from shelves of up to 8 feet high.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Regularly required to sit for lengths of time; use of hands and fingers to type, handle or feel must have the ability to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.  The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl when retrieving files.
