The [nap_names id=”FIRM-NAME-1″] is proud to announce the newest addition to our team, Jesse Walstad. Attorney Walstad joins us with years of experience in general civil law and criminal litigation.
Prior to joining our Bismarck team, Jesse Walstad graduated cum laude from the University of North Dakota School of Law. There, he also received the Lillian Elsinga Outstanding Student Leader Award for his exemplary leadership skills, campus involvement, and volunteer efforts.
Following his graduation, Jesse Walstad became increasingly involved in labor and employment law, and received a two-year Presidential Management Fellowship for these areas. During those two years, Attorney Walstad worked for the Department of the Interior in Denver, Colorado.
Jesse Walstad also served as a full-time Judge Advocate to the Colorado Army National Guard. As a Judge Advocate, Attorney Walstad gained substantial experience in criminal, administrative, employment, and international law. His involvement with the National Guard took him around the world in service to our country, including Iraq, Germany, Jordan, Kuwait, Kosovo, and Guantanamo Bay. Not only does this make him a great resource to the [nap_names id=”FIRM-NAME-1″], but we are honored to work with an attorney who spent over 17 years serving our country.
As a civil and criminal litigation lawyer for the [nap_names id=”FIRM-NAME-1″], Jesse Walstad remains involved in the military as a Judge Advocate for the North Dakota Army National Guard.
