Caren Wanner Stanley practices in the firm’s Fargo office. Her areas of concentration include business and commercial litigation; employment litigation and counseling; bankruptcy; creditor, debtor and collection; and foreclosures and evictions. Caren is a co-editor of the North Dakota Employment Law Letter, a monthly newsletter published for employers and human resource professionals. Prior to entering law school, Caren worked for Microsoft Great Plains Business Solutions. She graduated magna cum laude from Hamline University School of Law in 2004. Caren is a native of the Fargo-Moorhead area.

Robert B. Stock is a civil litigation attorney and also practices in the firm’s Fargo office. His area of concentration is the defense of civil litigation claims, including commercial litigation, products liability, professional negligence, employment litigation, general insurance defense, and trucking/transportation claims. Rob, a native of Thief River Falls, MN, has been with the firm since 2005. He graduated, with distinction, from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2004, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif. Before joining the firm, Rob served as a law clerk to the Honorable Rodney S. Webb, United States District Judge for the District of North Dakota.

Jeffrey C. Nelson’s practice is focused on business transactions and banking and commercial finance. His practice involves advising clients with respect to all aspects of their businesses, including business formation, corporate governance, contract review and operations and mergers and acquisitions. In addition, he advises lenders and borrowers in connection with commercial lending and financing transactions. Prior to joining the Bismarck office, Jeff was an associate at Baker & Daniels, LLP in Indianapolis. Jeff and his wife are natives of Central Illinois.
