In an effort to find a solution to the catastrophic flooding in the Fargo-Moorhead region, the governors of North Dakota and Minnesota have joined together and created a 16-member task force. The task force made up of representatives from both states, including some who have opposed the project, is expected to find a solution that protects the lives, homes, and properties in the Fargo-Moorhead region and addresses upstream and downstream concerns. [nap_names id=”FIRM-NAME-1″] is proud to announce that Attorney Tami Norgard has been named to the task force for her notable work in environmental law.
The first meeting took place on Monday, October 23, at the Fargodome. Recommendations regarding the Fargo-Moorhead flood diversion project are expected by December 15.
